Pascaline Risbourg D.O. BSc (Hons) Ost.

Registered Osteopath

‘I believe that Osteopathy is a highly beneficial treatment option for the wear and tear of today’s demanding lifestyle, both physical and emotional.’

Originally from France, Pascaline graduated from the European School of Osteopathy (Maidstone, Kent), where she trained for five years, full time. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (Gosc) and now thrives as an osteopath and in seeing her patients getting better.

‘Every day I treat people suffering with pain - I use gentle, hands-on techniques designed to reduce swelling, improve joint mobility and release muscle tension. My philosophy is simple: identify the cause of the problem, treat it, and leave the body to heal itself.‘

Pascaline enjoys treating patients of all ages, from day old babies through to the elderly, and a wide variety of conditions. Her main treatment approach is in the classical style which involves treating the whole body which she combines with other techniques such as cranial osteopathy. She is highly proficient in both structural and cranial osteopathy.

Pascaline also has a particular interest in treating babies and children with poor sleep, excess crying and colic, especially following birth trauma.

As an osteopath, Pascaline encourages patients to take an active role in their own health. She provides advice about posture, stretching exercise and nutrition, therefore aiming towards whole body health.

Pascaline enjoys keeping fit, and particularly enjoys Pilates which she sees as a great way to strengthen the body.
